Just launched! Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training Tier 1, Part 2 - fully-funded spaces

The Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training on Learning Disability and Autism is the government's preferred and recommended training for health and social care staff. There are two tiers of training.

Tier 1 is for people who require general awareness of the support autistic people or people with a learning disability may need.
There are two steps to completing the tier 1 training.

Step 1 - completion of this elearning package
Step 2 - to participate in a 1-hour online interactive session, co-delivered by experts by experience and a subject matter expert facilitator.

Norfolk and Waveney Integrated Care Board is offering over 2000 spaces to the adult social care workforce between February 2025 and January 2026 for tier 1 part 2. These are fully-funded and are available on a first come first served basis. Sessions will be released in stages, as per the following schedule:
February = February to April dates
April = May to July dates
July = August to October dates
October = November to January dates

Tier 2
Tier 2 of the Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training on Learning Disability and Autism is for people who may need to provide care and support for autistic people or people with a learning disability.
