Self-employed PA to provide holiday and sickness cover

Job Purpose:
I am a lady with Depression and anxiety who is seeking a self-employed PA to assist me with everyday living tasks such as general household cleaning, shopping, light personal care, administrative duties and accompanying me out into the community.

Due to being unsteady on my feet, this role will involve providing me with physical support to promote my safety and independence. I require support whilst I am in the shower in the form of holding the shower and assisting me to wash my back and feet. I can also require support whilst I am walking by holding my arm.

Due to my anxiety, I am not very confident when out and about on my own, as such I require someone who can accompany me into the community. Candidates with previous experience of working with individuals with anxiety and depression would be highly advantageous.

This position is provided on a self-employed basis, to provide holiday and sickness cover, as and when.

Location: Dereham

Details:
To provide holiday and sickness cover.
General household cleaning: changing the bed sheets, vacuuming etc.
Light personal care: assisting me to wash my back and feet in the shower.
Accompanying me out in the community e.g. taking me shopping.
Encouraging me to eat meals.
Making appointments on my behalf.
Assistance managing medication: if errors have been made, calling the pharmacy/GP on my behalf.
Assist me to maintain my tenancy by helping to arrange any household maintenance (e.g. plumbing) as and when it comes up.
Running errand on my behalf.

The rate of pay for this position is £20.39 per hour
Mileage paid at 45p per mile
Hours and days of work: to provide holiday and sickness cover, exact days and times are flexible for the right candidate
The post is subject to the following:
A satisfactory Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, the cost of which will be covered by the employer.
Satisfactory references from two referees, one of which must be your current or last employer.
Completion of a satisfactory probationary period.
