Description
Job Purpose:
I am a happy and busy young man with a diagnosis of learning disability, Autism and ADHD. I am looking for a Personal Assistant to support me on Mondays with accessing community and becoming more independent. I need reassurance and prompting all the time, or I can get upset and become confused. I like routine and knowing what I am doing. I need to help to manage my daily plans because I am would not be able to do this without support. You would help me to set some personal goals and support me in working towards those. This could be going out in the local community to buy ingredients for lunch or baking or to practice budgeting and paying for items, getting onto public transport and trying out another different types of social interactions as I have only limited experience. With your help I could join groups with similar interests as well as plan activities of my choice. Or you could be supporting me with preparing a lunch, baking or making a healthy snack. This would be a great step on my way to learn how to be more independent and gains some everyday life skills.
My main interests are football, computers, games and War Hammer. I enjoy walking. I love baking and the theatre. I like to keep busy and occupied.
