Job Purpose
I am a cheerful, outgoing lady in my early 60's, a cat lover, who requires a female Personal Assistant to help me with various activities including personal and domestic support. I am a wheelchair user, and have various health issues and limited mobility. I have also recently been diagnosed with autism and would require my PA to have some experience and training in this.
Location: Norwich, NR4
Details
I live in a sheltered housing scheme in Norwich with my partner Janet, and our cat, Lord Lacy. The candidate must be ok with various forms of wildlife as we enjoy having 'visitors' from the outdoors in our home. I enjoy going out for shopping and socialising and would like my P.A. to support me with this.
My current needs are:
· General personal care (washing dressing etc), I use pads for incontinence.
· Support to get out and about. The candidate would need their own vehicle which could accommodate my wheelchair, and be able to assist me with transfer.
· Due to my Diabetes I do need a full hot lunch, (not a microwave meal), and I am happy for my P.A. to join me in having a meal when working. I may occasionally need help with feeding but only on rare bad days.
· An understanding of autism and trainied to Oliver McGowan Standard of Autism Training
