Description

To provide an effective, supportive and confidential service for women and children requiring emergency Refuge accommodation.
To ensure that the Refuge operational Policies and Procedures are implemented and adhered to, and that all statistical data is collated and maintained for stakeholders and funding bodies.
To support the Refuge Services Co-ordinator in developing the Refuge Service to deliver the best possible outcomes for refuge residents.


Essential Job requirements:

Relevant qualification and/or two years' experience of working with women and children who are experiencing domestic violence, for a statutory or voluntary agency

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Experience of safeguarding vulnerable adults and children.

Ability to work on a rota over 7 days including evening work and take part in the out of hours on-call system.

The ability to use Microsoft office.

Full driving license, car business insurance & use of a car to travel.



Desirable Job requirements:

Experience of working in a residential setting.
