St David's Care Home

St David's is a small home and is registered with CQC for 18 residents but we usually we take only 15-16 people. St David's is situated close to the sea front. It is only 10 minute walk to the bus station and is close to bus route. St David building is old, which has been adapted for the purpose of care home. It is on 2 floors, of which 14 rooms (16 beds) are accessible by the passenger lift. The ground and each floor are secured by padded key lock and are controlled electronically. We have lounge, dining room, a small front garden and a patio area at the rear of the building. All communal areas are accessible to service users, including those in wheel chairs. Residents private accommodation and facilities will always meets the assessed needs of the individual residents We cater for people over 65, who are unable to live independently, due to their physical needs, mobility need or people with dementia and Alzheimer. We currently employ 19 staff, including manager. All staff are fully trained and competent to do their job. There are always suitable numbers of staff on duty to care for people residing at St David. We have different types of mobility equipment to suit individual's mobility needs.
