Norfolk Care Careers has partnered with SocialB, experts in digital marketing and social media management, to provide you with a range of fully funded workshops.

In a digital world, adult social care providers such as yourselves, are needing to learn new ways to connect with communities, how to enhance your organisation's recruitment strategies, and why it is important to build a strong online presence.

To help you feel confident in this new digital sphere, a range of specialised digital marketing courses have been created for you by the digital marketing experts at SocialB. These courses offer you tailored insights and practical skills designed to address the unique needs of the adult social care sector. Joining these sessions will help you learn how to use essential tools to build digital presence, engage meaningfully with your audiences, and leverage online platforms effectively for both community engagement and recruitment.

The courses span critical areas of digital marketing, beginning with the fundamentals of creating an effective digital strategy. You will learn how to create a strategy that aligns with your organisation's goals, that helps attract talent and improve your online outreach. Through tools such as Google Analytics (GA4), audience insight tools, and keyword research, you will see your organisation's current online standing, teaching you as to what these numbers and terms mean and how you can make informed decisions from these results to refine your approach for better engagement and outreach.

An essential part of this journey is mastering content creation. You will be guided by SocialB's experts in developing content that resonates with your audience, helping you ensure that you focus on choosing the right topics, formats, and platforms for maximum impact. You will learn the differences between static (picture) and video content, helping you tailor posts effectively. Following content creation, a simple approach to content distribution will train you on how to optimise and share your materials across social media, websites, and email, as well as how to monitor engagement to measure success.

Engaging with your community online is a vital focus across all these courses. You learn how to foster interaction and build relationships across various platforms, enhancing your reputation and creating supportive networks. By understanding how to create and distribute meaningful content, you can cultivate an online community that not only supports recruitment but also encourages a positive environment for both staff and service users.

For adult social care providers looking to expand your reach through paid advertising, our courses introduce social media advertising essentials on platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook, tailored specifically to the recruitment needs of social care. You will gain insight into how to create targeted ad campaigns that attract qualified candidates, how to optimise ads for reach and engagement, and how to analyse metrics to ensure recruitment efforts are effective and budget friendly.

Recognising the unique challenges that come with navigating social media, these courses will also focus on building confidence and technical knowledge for those new to digital marketing. You will learn how to engage your audiences with clear goals, a strong brand voice, and platform-specific strategies for maximising your visibility. You will also learn how to optimise your own personal profiles on LinkedIn and how using features like Meta Business Suite can streamline account management.

Lastly, with the increasing relevance of Artificial Intelligence (AI), you will be introduced to accessible AI tools that can automate repetitive tasks and simplify social media management. By using AI for content creation, insights, and engagement, it can save you time and resources whilst still enhancing your digital marketing efforts.

These courses provide a comprehensive foundation in digital marketing, how to foster community engagement, the tools needed to attract the right talent and give you the skills you need to succeed online.
