Norfolk and Waveney Hydration Champion Programme 2024-2025

Are you a social care employer looking to support your staff to develop their existing knowledge and skills and improve the health and well-being of the people you support? Are you a social care employee looking for an exciting development opportunity?

De-hydration can be a big problem for people in care settings and can have a significant impact on health outcomes if not addressed. The Hydration Champion Programme is fully-funded by the Norfolk and Waveney ICB and delivered by Training and Assessment in Healthcare Ltd. It offers a combination of online and face to face learning to help improve the hydration of people receiving support in care settings. The programme is suitable for any member of staff in a care setting including managers, catering staff and people in aligned roles. Residential settings are a key focus as 1:3 people in care homes are de-hydrated.

Being hydrated is important for everyone in terms of health, well-being and performance so this programme can be of benefit to everyone on the staff team!
