Description

22 hours per week, two 12hour shifts from 7pm-7am

You will be working alongside our dedicated and warm-hearted team providing a high standard of care to our residents. All you need is an NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or be working towards this.

Beyond fulfilling basic needs, Senior Care Assistants foster meaningful connections with residents. Engage them in stimulating activities, offer emotional support during challenging moments, and create a sense of companionship.

Key responsibilities:
Ensure that a detailed handover is taken/given at the end of each shift so to provide continuity and knowledge.
Promote a caring environment conductive to the physical and emotional need of the residents.
Maintain adequate staff numbers on shift, including determining future staffing needs.
Provide a safe and secure environment for residents, staff members and visitors.
As a Senior Care Assistant, you'll oversee and train other care assistants.
Manage resident schedules, write care plans, and collaborate with doctors and healthcare professionals.
Assist with personal care and hygiene tasks, dressing, bathing, and using hoists.
Administer medication.
Maintain records of care and incidents.
Create a caring and warm environment, conducive to physical and emotional needs.
