Norfolk Care Careers are pleased to offer the fully funded Level 4 (L4) Aspiring Managers programme. This programme offers accredited learning in leadership and management, and is ideal if you are new to management or wanting to take a step into a management role.

*If offered a space you will need to attend an in person enrolment at City College Norwich on 15th October

Weekly three hour online sessions

Course Overview
Unit 1: Managing self for leadership - Understand the human resource issues
Unit 2: Supervision and Performance Management - Understand supervision in Adult care including the key principles of what makes supervision effective
Unit 3: Team Leadership - Understand leaderships in Adult Care
Unit 4: Regulatory Processes - Understand the systems and requirements for the regulation of Adult care services including key roles,remits and responsibilities
Unit 5: Innovation and Change - Understand how a vision for the service leads to innovation
Unit 6: Resource Management - Understand resource management issues in Adult Care
Additional Support
- An in person introductory session so you can meet your tutor and fellow learners
- A mentor, assigned to you, to motivate you, offer you guidance, support and provide a fresh perspective on your professional development
- Introductory IT tech support
To qualify for entry you must :
- Be 18 years of age or above
- Have significant experience within the care and support sector
- Be educated to Level 2 and/or Level 3 in health or Adult Social Care
- Be in, or working towards, a senior/lead role in Adult Social Care
